Over 100 golfers to compete in Kericho at the Johnnie Walker Golf Series
NAIROBI, Kenya, February 17 – The 8th edition of the ongoing Johnnie Walker Golf Series dubbed ‘Road to Gleneagles’ will take place this Saturday at Kericho Golf Club.
At least 100 golfers are expected to tee off at the ever-green 9-hole par-72 golf course at 0700 Hours, playing in the four-ball, stableford format of the competition.
The golfers will compete to make the cut for the series’ semi-finals, dubbed the Eagles’ Round, which will be held at Muthaiga Golf Club. The Grand Finale will then take place, with a fully paid trip to Scotland’s iconic Gleneagles Golf Course up for grabs.
The Eldoret Golf Club leg was played in January, and the quartet of Dr. Felix Tarus, Dr. Peter Maritim, Dr. Paul Mwangi, and George Njoroge scored 114 stableford points to take first place.
