Losers in the UDA primaries will be considered for county jobs, according to Mutai.
Independent candidates and nomination losers in Kericho have been urged to abandon their campaigns and back UDA candidates in the August general election.
Independent governorship candidates Elijah Maru and engineer Samuel Rotich were urged on Saturday to join forces with the winner of the UDA primaries to campaign for Deputy President William Ruto.
Eric Mutai, who won the Kericho UDA ticket for governor, said losers in party primaries and those running as independents will be given jobs if DP Ruto is elected president.

Mutai and his running mate, Fred Kirui, have stated that South Rift is gearing up for a vigorous presidential campaign.
“I’m appealing to the region’s electorate to support Ruto’s candidacy,” he said.
Mutai also urged voters to support all UDA candidates, from MCAs to governors.
