Linet Chepkorir, a Bomet woman representative, has purchased her first car just months after being elected to the National Assembly.
Toto took the car to her neighborhood church for prayers.
The lawmaker stated that the car would be used for official purposes.
She worshiped with the Kingdom Aflame Ministries faithful in Silibwet Township ward, Bomet Central Sub County, where the car, a Toyota Prado TX, was blessed before its use.
“I’m glad they prayed for the new vehicle because I plan to use it for official duties that benefit the people of Bomet County,” Toto said.
Toto became a sensation after crushing her opponents in the UDA nominations months before the August 9 polls.
Because of the UDA party wave that swept the Rift Valley region, winning the nomination was as good as winning the general elections.
